Hello! My name is Kate Bailin and I am the school counselor at Whitehouse Primary. I obtained my B.S. in Early Childhood Education from BGSU and spent 8 years as a classroom teacher prior to becoming a counselor.
I completed my Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling at Spring Arbor University and attended The University of Toledo for the School Counseling Endorsement Program. In addition to being a school counselor, I work part-time as a child therapist at a local private practice. I am passionate about meeting the social-emotional needs of children and enjoy working with families to develop a supportive, team approach.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, blogging, running, doing art and design projects, and traveling! I have had the privilege of teaching abroad in Ghana, Africa and San Salvador, El Salvador!
I look forward to working with your child and family! Please feel free to contact me at anytime!
